How do I get to the Avatar Mountains from Zhangjiajie?
From Zhangjiajie to the Avatar Mountains (Yuanjiajie Scenic Area in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park), you can refer to the following routes:
- Entering from the East Gate
Take the park’s shuttle bus directly to Yuanjiajie. The ride takes about 25 minutes. There, you can visit attractions such as the “Avatar Hallelujah Mountain” (floating peaks), Misty Terraces, and the First Bridge Under Heaven. To descend, take the Bailong Elevator. - Entering from the West Gate
Take the Yangjiajie Cable Car up the mountain. You can explore less crowded spots like the Natural Great Wall before returning via the Yangjiajie Cable Car or shuttle bus back to the West Gate.
